MILTON, NY -- After earning CUNY Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) All-Star honors with a fifth-place showing at the CUNYAC Championships, Yanelle Serrano (Bronx, NY) of the City Colle of New York women's cross country team finished 13th overall at the ECAC Championships on Saturday.  She notched a time of 27:22.60 over 6000 meters at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome.

Serrano led a small contingent of three Beavers at the competition.  Amy Jacob (Queens, NY) placed 57th with a time of 32:10.10, while Tanya Hounkpevi's (Bronx, NY) 39:21.50 clocking was good for 76th place.  Since CCNY had less than five runners entered, the Beavers did not receive a team score.

CCNY has one meet remaining in the cross country season.  The Beavers head to Canton, NY next Saturday for the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships.
