Danbury, Conn. – The City College of New York women's basketball team fell on the road to Western Connecticut State, 71-42.

With the loss, the Beavers drop to 1-3 on the season.

Freshman Kasia Morrison led the Beavers with 15 points, two rebounds, two assists, and a pair of steals. Junior Monae Laing notched her second-straight double-double, finishing with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Freshman Anna Vikatos finished with five points, eight three rebounds, two assists, three blocks, and two steals.

Sophomore Leondra Craig finished with five points, four rebounds, and three steals. Freshman Joscelyn Ramos finished the afternoon with points and three steals.

The CCNY women's basketball program returns to the hardwood on Monday, Nov. 28, on the road against FDU-Florham.
