New York, NY  – The City College of New York women's basketball team suffered a non-conference setback on Monday night, falling to Yeshiva University, 64-29, on the road.

The Beavers drop to 2-6 on the season.

Freshman Anna Vikatos led the Beavers with nine points, nine rebounds, two blocks, and two steals. Junior Monae Laing tallied nine points and nine rebounds for the Beavers. Sophomore Kasia Morrison added four, two rebounds, and two steals.

Sophomore Leondra Craig finished with three points and three rebounds, while sophomore Fatoumata Nantoume posted four points and four rebounds. 

Freshman Eyoni Mayes dished out two assists and a steal, while Noemy Santana added two rebounds and a steal.

Next, the CCNY women's basketball program returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 28, hosting Rutgers-Newark at the Nat Holman Gymnasium at 2:00 p.m.
