New York, NY - The CUNY Athletic Conference announced on Monday morning that The City College of New York midfielder Sarah Rodriguez was named the league's Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week following her performance last week.

In CCNY's conference opener against John Jay, Rodriguez produced one goal and one assist in the 4-3 victory. In the Beavers midweek non-conference matchup at William Paterson on Wednesday, she finished with an assist and a shot attempt.

The CCNY women's soccer program is back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 11, as they host Brooklyn College in their home opener at Randall's Island Field 10 at 7:00 p.m.
