New York, NY - The City College of New York Beavers women's track & field team delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 CUNYAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, finishing third overall with 114 points at the historic Armory Track & Field Center.

CCNY's podium finish was powered by a dominant day from the sprint group, led by freshman Jennifer Hepburn, who captured three CUNYAC championship titles. Hepburn swept the 60 meters (8.02), 200 meters (26.26), and 400 meters (1:00.71), accounting for 27 crucial points and establishing herself as one of the conference's premier sprinters.

Fellow freshman Mikelena Bouzy added to the sprint success with a runner-up finish in the 400 meters (1:02.24) and podium placements in both the 60 meters and 200 meters, contributing significant points across multiple events.

In the field events, Serena Warner turned in a championship-caliber showing, winning both the shot put and weight throw to secure 18 points for the Beavers. Warner not only claimed the shot put title with a mark of 11.40 meters, but also set a new CCNY school record in the event, while adding a second conference crown in the weight throw (13.87m).

Sophmore Hailey Thomas showcased her versatility with points in three events, including a third-place finish in the high jump (1.45m), along with scoring efforts in the 60-meter hurdles and long jump. Victoria Pena also made her mark in the jumps, placing fourth in the triple jump (9.87m) and adding points in the long jump.
