Women's Soccer Falls at Centenary

Box Score The City College of New York women's soccer team fall 0-9 against Centenary College in Hackettstown, New Jersey on Tuesday. The Beavers (0-1) was unable to stop the Cyclones (1-0) who were picked to finish second in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.

City was unable to get a shot off as Centenary took control from the start of the match. Zoe-Elena Rosebloom put up three saves as the freshhman made her collegiate goal keeper debut.

The Beavers let up six goals in the first half, but was able to put up some bigs stops in the second half to keep the score under 10.

The squad will play in the CSI Fall Tournament hosted by the College of Staten Island. First, they will face Old Westbury on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. Then they will face Sussex CC on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m.
